”In 1969 when the world was busy putting man on the moon, here at Made in Heaven we were busy creating the best jeans on earth.”

Chloe Lonsdale grew up with denim in her blood. Her dad started the legendary Jean Machine stores, her mum, Chekkie Maskell, was a top 70s denim model and her godfather launched Made in Heaven in 1969 – a brand which has now, in its reincarnation as MiH jeans, become her baby.

At MiH HQ, there is an original MiH poster stating: ”In 1969 when the world was busy putting man on the moon, here at Made in Heaven we were busy creating the best jeans on earth.”

This is their motto to this day. We think they are doing a pretty good job. These jeans lengthen the leg, slim the silhouette and are beautifully made in the best denim factories in the world.

The girls at Jane Davidson are loyal to the Paris fit. Not a day goes by in Thistle Street when one of us is not wearing them.

MiH are proud of their place in denim history. From Jane Birkin and Farah Fawcett in the 1970s to Claudia Schiffer and Sarah Jessica Parker today, and of course all their other customers. They are proud to say that today they dress some of the best bums in the world. (http://www.janedavidson.co.uk ; http://www.mih-jeans.com )
